Lynn Navarette

Professor Lynn Navarette has enjoyed the privilege of teaching sociology and social science at Chaffey College since August of 1994. Throughout her teaching tenure she has received considerable professional recognition and numerous awards for excellence in teaching and community leadership.

Professor Navarette's personal, educational and professional training encompass a wide range of disciplines including music, dance, art, film, poetry, philosophy, anthropology, biology, sociolinguistics, socio-biology, martial arts and yoga. Within the field of sociology, her concentrations include social stratification, culture, popular-culture, human sexuality, and media-literacy.

A vegetarian and animal advocate for nearly three decades, Lynn Navarette is dedicated to serving and protecting all creatures great and small. For her, animals have always been among her best friends and her greatest teachers. In addition to teaching and film-making, she would one day like to own and operate an animal sanctuary which would be open to "any critter who needs a home."

Eddie Laury

Director Eddie Laury became interested in film and writing as a child growing up in Texas. After a stint in the U.S. Navy, Eddie graduated from Columbia College-Hollywood with a B.A. in Cinema. Since that time, he has worked on numerous short films, music videos and other projects as a director, writer, assistant director and videographer. Most recently he has completed the short film, American Dream.com and is currently working on an original screenplay called The Vigilante. In preparation for future projects, Eddie is currently working on a B.A. in History and Social Studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
